Beer Engine v1.09

Beer Engine, a work in progress, is a recipe design programme for home brewers. It is meant to be an easy-to-use recipe designer that is rather more Euro-centric (well, world-centric) than most of the other offerings.

Beer Engine will run on Windoze XP, Vista, and their derivatives, but not on earlier stuff, such as win98. It will bring up a standard installation screen. It does not mess unnecessarily with the registry and it uninstalls cleanly. It requires a horizontal screen resolution of 1024 pixels minimum. It will run from a mempry stick.

Now v1.09

There is a rare issue whereby the application does not display properly on some computers. This seems to be due to the display settings being set to something other than normal (96 dpi). If you have display proplems, go to Windows Control Panel Display/Settings/Advanced/General, and set the DPI setting to normal, which is 96dpi.

If you have a previous version of BeerEngine, it may be necessary to uninstall the old version before installing the new one.

It is free software, but remember that this is a work in progress. It can be downloaded here: Beer Engine v1.09 Download
